Testing Circular Application Menu

Hello, after taking a break for a pretty long time, I announce that I'm still alive and healthy(not really). Well... Right now, I will give you some cool review and experiment's inside ubuntu, I just found a pretty creative software concept for Ubuntu. And I like the difference of the concept(I already posted this concept before for Ubuntu and now it's real!).

Circular Application Menu is a pretty light software and I'll bet that people will likes this software. This application is still under heavy development and still only a prototype. And here is the screenshot:

Ok. Now the installation methods; There's 2 ways to install this Circular Application Menu,

1. You can download this software package from C-A-M @ getdeb.com. Just download and install this software easily.
2. You just have to install some libraries, subversion and essential build stuff, check out the current repository and compile it. Try this:
$ sudo aptitude install subversion build-essential \
libgnome-desktop-dev libgnome-menu-dev
$ svn checkout \
http://circular-application-menu.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ \
circular-application-menu
$ cd circular-application-menu
$ make
$ sudo make install
Ok, those are some easy installation method. Now, you can run the software after the installation. I suggest you to build a new directory to install this software, because it's still unstable and I don't really sure if you want to mix it up with your ubuntu binaries.

Integrate with avant windows navigator(AWN)

You can install avant windows navigator :
"sudo aptitude install avant-window-navigator"

And then add an icon for circular menu to it by doing a right-click->settings->Launchers->Add. Now you can start all normal applications by calling Circular menus from the avant go launcher.

Pretty eye catching isn't it?

Well.. In my opinion, this software is really nice and must be improved, there're some complain because this software doesn't run properly and there're a few bugs that needs reparation. Sometimes, C-A-M is not stable and often quit unexpectedly and this software still don't have any preferences function :=( . That's why I think this software need more improvements. But I still like this software. It's pretty light as well... I'll update this software oftenly if I get more info.
